I'm encountering an error message when using Tony Toews' Front End
Updater. My users are getting a message of:

"Shortcut creation was not successful for unknown reason."

This occurs when a user does not have rights to create a shortcut on
the server.

I have set the following option,
ShortcutErrorMessageHandling = 2
but this does not stop the error message.

Is there any way to either stop the error message or turn off the
shortcut creation on the server?

Regarding turning off shortcut creation on the server, I currently use
the following options for the *client* computer:
CreateShortCutOnDesktop=Yes
CreateShortCutOnCommonDesktop=no
but I don't see anything regarding turning off the *server* shortcut
creation.

I find that I can stop *all* the shortcut creation by deleting all the
lines regarding shortcuts, but I would like to be able to have a
shortcut created on the user's desktop.

Thanks in advance for your help. (And thanks to Tony for making this
available! It is very useful.)

I think I've fixed that in the latest version. <a bit later> No, I
haven't. I'm emailed you a zip file containing a new version of the
Auto FE Updater for that problem. If you haven't received it please
email me.

Hmm, can you email me your INI file?
