Toner saver software

Does anybody know of a software package on PC that lets me save toner on my
LaserJet? So far I only found InkSaver
(http://www.inksaver.com/overview/index.html), but it only works for ink,
and does not work for laser printers

Many lasers, all the HPs I've used, have settings that affect how much
toner you use. Older ones, like the HPII actually have a dial (near
the toner cart) that you adjusts print density directly.
Later ones do it in software. Look at the printer settings, select
your printer, right-click for properties. In my HP4 under "device
options" there is a "print quality" setting with light, medium, dark.
Light uses less toner.

Otherwise, you can print smaller, scale the output, saves paper too if
you print 2 pages/sheet reduced, good fro drafts, web pages, etc.
Often a feature in the printing settings, or using a 3rd party app
"FinePrint". <http://www.fineprint.com/>

I don't like the quality of "draft" or "economy" modes. I worked before with
InkSaver and the quality was still pretty good, and I could adjust the
savings depending on what I wanted to print. I was wondering if there is a
similar product for the laser printers.
