Hi Guys,

Can anyone suggest a source of cheap toner refills, (toner only), for a
Samsung ML-1210, in UK.

The best I could find was £13.99 but £5 postage seemed a bit of a rip-off
:-( (a total of £22.31 incl VAT)

Cheers,

That sounds quite reasonable for the refill at least, where was that?

That is why I bought more than one. It is an easy cartridge to refill and
my results have been good.

So have mine, but I do wonder if there is somebody that sells it in
higher volume for lower prices in the UK ?

If I bought four refills on one order, i.e. over £50, I'd get free postage,
but 4 refills should give me over 10,000 pages of printing, that's a heluva
lot for home use.

You could also try; www.cartridgeworld.org. They have outlets nationwide.

Thanks ! Looks as if they will refill cartridges but not sell the ink.

They maintain this is because the CP1700 cartridges are really hard to
refill. Is this really the case ?

There are a number of reasons why they do not sell the toner.
1) They are in the refilling business
2) They offer you an unconditional warranty, which basically states "if you
are not happy with the cartridge, return it and they will refund your money"
3) Your printer is also warranteed. If any cartridge they have
refilled/remanufactured should damage you printer they will pay for it's
repair (if possible) or failing that replace your printer.
4) The cost to you is between 40% to 60% below the cost of new.
5) All refilled/remanufactured cartridges are tested (where possible) prior
to releasing to the customer.

What have you got to lose?

Good reason from their point of view for sure.

2) They offer you an unconditional warranty, which basically states "if you

Hardly precludes their selling the ink and not giving any warranty on
how well I use it.

3) Your printer is also warranteed. If any cartridge they have

OK, but if I void the warranty, that's my problem.

4) The cost to you is between 40% to 60% below the cost of new.

Could be lower if I could fill them here and now rather than them
sending a van round.

Less environmental impact too.

How many liters of diesel does it take to refill a cartridge ??

5) All refilled/remanufactured cartridges are tested (where possible) prior
to releasing to the customer.
Good...

What have you got to lose?

Lets' see...

Time, money, flexibility and environmental benefit...
