Hi

I'm about to buy a laser printer (Brother HL1430) and I'm wondering whether I
should buy thye normal toner or the heavy duty toner....
The normal one yields about 3000 pages, whereas the heavy duty yields 6500.
I don't think I'll print 6500 pages within a 2 year period, so I'm wondering if
about how long the stuff lasts....
Does it turn bad eventually? How long could it be kept for (inside the printer
itself)?

Also, does anyone have any positive/negative comments on this particular
printer?

Thanks

David,

Toner is a very fine powder. Over time, it absorbs moisture. This causes it
to clump up somewhat. The clumps can easily be broken up by removing the
toner cart from the printer, and shaking the toner cart.

A toner cart can be used for years. It does not decay.

So I will be able to use a high capacity toner cartridge without any worries....

Thanks.
