Toggle music on or off

I have an mp3 (music) that starts when my presentation begins, but I would
like to incorporate a check box in the lower left corner that would allow the
user to turn off the background music by unchecking the box. Do-able?
If so, how? Any better alternatives?

Hi Dennis

You can do this with a trigger:
1. Insert a text box saying 'music on/off' or something similar
2. Right click sound icon -> custom animation
3. Add effect -> sound animation -> pause (I'm assuming you have it starting
automatically)
4. Click on drop down next to animation -> timing
5. Triggers -> start effect on click of: select text box from list

Hope that helps

Can this be done on the master slide? I've tried and failed - so far -
using PP2003.

I really don't fancy putting it on 111 slides.

Thanks and regards,

Brian.
