Is there any way to programmatically load/unload the PDFMaker.xla addin?
Most of the time i want it off, and it is very annoying since it takes like
5 seconds to load each time i load Excel. Is there anyway i can toggle it
on and off without completely uninstalling Acrobat?

I just use the Tool|AddIn menu in XL2002 and XL2003. This removes the
Acrobat toolbar. To get rid of the menu item, right click menu, hit
Customise and drag the Acrobat item off the menu - it comes back when you
restart XL!

I am using XL2000 (XP)

For me, the PDFMaker does not appear in Tools | Addins, nor is it in the
Application.Addins collection. I know that I can delete the menu, but i do
NOT want it to appear next time i load Excel. I just don't want the add-in
to load at all because it takes a few seconds to load, and it is
aggravating.

I *can* access it by using the Workbooks collection, and I can close it...
but it still loads every time i load Excel.

Any thoughts on this?
