"Today" button doesn't work

Usually when I call up the Outlook calendar and hit
the "Today" button, nothing happens. No day is
selected. First I have to select some day on the
calendar, and then hit the "Today" button.
 
I've got the same problem. Used to be, on Outlook 2000, that when I went
to view my Calendar folder - which I default to month view - "today"
was *automatically* selected.

After a recent upgrade to Outlook 2002, I've got the same problem as
Jack. I go to Calendar, and nothing's selected. I click Today, and it
goes nowhere. I've got to click on some day somewhere, and *then* on
Today, and it takes me to Today.

I can't find anywhere to change this behaviour. Help, please!
