I don't know if these is just one of those weird Word things to just ignore
and it will go away, but all of a sudden a reference document (which
contains a TOC) that I use very frequently now shows in in Print View with
the TOC in a window on the left side of the screen. I suppose I could just
take the cursor and push the window's right margin to the point where it is
out of sight. But what the heck is going on? This might be useful in some
circumstances. But what did I do to get this? Hit some key inadvertently?
And how do I get rid of it when I don't want it? I am getting this left
window with every Word document I now open. I feel better when Word does
what I want instead of leaving me scrambling to figure out what IT is doing.
