To use webcam as CCTV ?

Is there any software out there which will enable me to use my webcam (Trust
120) to take jpeg's at user defined intervals (i.e. every 5 seconds / every
minute etc), and timestamp them. Like a CCTV system.

The timestamping feature is not critical (although handy), as this info is
at the side of the file anyway.

There's a great prog called Crime Catcher. Your cam works as a motion
detector, then takes pics when there is some.

Why not try video functions instead of just pictures?
Watcher from Digi-Watcher.com does precisely that, upon motion detection.
btw, it has image capturing too.
