Hi,
I was going through the thread and one thing I can say that Windows
OneCare Live is a beta,and like all betas it's not an exception either.

An obvious thing, have you tried system restore? As you seem to have a
number of problems click start button | run and type "sfc /scannow" no
quotes. Reboot. Have your install disc handy. If Onecare has screwed the
system a repair install might be needed or even a reformat. Try sfc first
--
