My database has 1 millon records and when I run a query I
see it start (hour glass) then just stop. Could this be a
limitation of RAM or to many records to query?

Thanking you in advance for any help.

Are you running your query over a network? Do you have exclusive access to the tables? What's your operating system and Access version? Are the tables linked via ODBC? Are there any indexes on the tables? How many tables and fields are you trying to join together to create your query? Do you have any VB functions you created that are calculating on every record? How much RAM do you have in your PC? What other applications do you have open? How fast is your PC?

A lot of factor be the cause of this. In the end, sometimes it just takes a long time. I have queries I've run that access 26 million records, and they're the one's you just walk away from, and pray the network doesn't log you off during the night.

Good luck.
