to many connections

we have a small business with about 15 users who share a
folder on one pc.We share this folder,The problem is we
get the error to many connections when we accsess the
folder.Insted of sharing the folder would mapping a
network drive be a better solution?

It does not really matter - you need more CALs. See here:

A workstation can only handle 10 connections. You'll need a server.

As the others have said you are hitting the connection limit. Here is a KB
