To install 32 bit or 64 bit?

Simple question - okay it won't be that simple - but which is it and why?

And, as a follow up question can I have 32 bit and 64 bit versions running
on the same machine on separate hard drives?

Yes you can run do this on an x64 capable system, but two licenses are
required, one for each installation.

32 bit. Better driver support.
