To Go Or Not To Go

Hey guys im expecting my copy of Vista RC1 soon, but i have some questions
for you. I have a HP Livestrong notebook with Turion 64 ML-40. Im thinking of
going 64Bit. Im running XP Pro SP2. Should I upgrade, clean install, or dual
boot. Its a personal notebook that I use to fiddle around with. I also was
wondering if anyone knows if my restore disks will work with vista
(I.E..Restoring my drive to XP Pro)? Should i go vista or not. Let me know
your ideas and problems. Also is my Ipod Shuffle compatible with ReadyBoost?

Thanks for the helpful insight. Im ordering the CD rom but when i get it I
will post here to show how it goes. I want to go 64 just to see how my
processor does, kinda like benchmarking it. Thanks tho I will keep you
informed.
 
Hey I finally got RC1 installed it 64 in like an hour. GO 64!!!!! I havent
had many problems, the only problem ive had is Anti-Virus is CA Sucks, so im
on PC-Cillan. Only 2 64-Bit programs. The audio drivers will not work in 64
but i found a way around:

the nail on the head going Vista and 64. I Love the sidebar and the viewables
in the OS. (Where else can you play Pong when installing Halo????) I think
that Microsoft needs One Care 64 but hey itll be here. I LOVE
VISTA!!!!!!!64!!!!!!!!
