Hi Frank
Just checking with you to see if you had a chance to go over the excel file situation I submitted on the 18th of March. This is obviously a continuation of the tread related to same subject of Excel importing into Access 97/2000/2002. If you've arrived at any suggestion to resolve the import problem I'd appreciate it. I know you suggested copying and pasting only values, then, importing the data. That, would work well if it was just one workbook sheet, but there are multiple sheets within the worknbook, and then, there could be as many as 54 workbooks within (at this time, and still growing in number) the target folder of excel files to be imported
Also, after the import process, Access reports are run against the imported excel data and compared against other data source values for accuracy and at times data corrections may need to be made to particular files within the import target folder. So, that, will complicate matters if correction are needed down the road and the formulas are blown out. Due to the fact that other linked workbook files are looking to those (previously impoted files) for data values upstream to generate data results downstream that yet other files rely on and so on
Looking forward to suggestions you may have of solutions to this matter..........
Thanks
Any solution(s), any at all will be highly appreciated!
