Hi Don

Umm. thanks for the help......I'm sorry I didn't explain clearly enough
.......I don't have Outloook any longer......... I need to convert the
Outlook.pst file (with my addresses and messages and such) that I have saved
on a 250mb Zip to a csv file so that I can import it into Outlook Express.

Any further help gratefully appreciated.

This may sound too good to be true- but try it, it works 99.9% of the time. When you go to save the file, change the last three letters from .pst to .cvs. In other words, change Outlook.pst to Outlook.cvs. This should do the trick. You may have to alter some of the fields however.

I do not know of any way to convert a outlook.pst file without Outlook. If
you still have a retail Office CD, you can run a custom installation and
just install Outlook. Convert and uninstall Outlook. Actually any retail
Office CD of the same or later version will work as long as you do not try
to activate the product {you have 50 uses before you need to activate} and
uninstall Outlook as soon as you complete the conversion. Do not think a OEM
CD will work.

Perhaps someone in the Outlook newsgroups can help.

Bud suggested having someone with Office import the file for you. IMO, not
the best choice as the data will be co-mingled.

There is another option if you want to spend $8. Microsoft still has a 30
trial offer for Office 2003 Professional at:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/trial.mspx

The evaluation copy is free, but you need to pay shipping.
