to disable internet explorer

Whos Smart?

ok i only want to know how to disable or delete internet
explorer version 6. i have tried control panel uninstall
that does nothing except remove it from the unistall
prompt, i have also tried windows components untick that
only removes the shortcuts. please only tell me how to do
it or give me a link that shows how to. don't worry about
the reason it only leads off the topic which it has done in
all my previous posts. if you can help me your a legend,
cheers.
