I have the same problem!! Please help because it's driving me crazy

Open My Computer and right click on your CD drive listed there. Click on
Properties on the opening menu. Click on the Recording tab in the opening
window and check the box "Enable...."

Thanks but I already checked that. Anything else you might think of please?

I've also defragmented the hard drive a few times, now it is saying "You do
not need to defragmet".
