No, no no. Installing SP2 cost me several computer
functions and took up two entire days and nights of my
life while I was on a deadline. I was desperate to
regain my old system, so I removed it. Two tech support
people who are paid to fix computers assured me that
if/when hackers wants to disrupt Microsoft again, they
will find a way. I uninstalled SP2 and stopped the
automatic Update function. I'm going to have to trust my
Norton anti-virus. I have no faith in Windows systems
anymore.

Hi, Anita -

Sorry you had so much trouble. Note that when you want to reply to someone,
you should reply in the existing thread so that people will know what you're
referring to - don't start a new thread unless you have a new question or
comment of your own.

Switch to an Apple Computer then! Almost not smart not
updating your system. For sure people are going to find
ways to disrupt MS again, but this will be more difficult.
