To choose AV /malware scanner(s)

I have used quite a few scanners for a while now.

If any of the top ranked AV-scanners (also OL versions) is used the low
ranked ones does not contribute.

SpyBot and Adaware more or less take the same malware.

When I have done this some of the lower ranked aplications have made a real
contribution. This most likely depends on that these are developed "on there
own" and has special traits (or virus definitions) the others doesn't have.

Sometimes run... X-cleaner, Bazooka and A2.
A2 cleaned >30 spies after Kaspersky!!!

Syst. Spyware interrogater SSI add some security too....


EMCO malware, Aranea Spy Wiz may add some extra cleaning, but no big effect.

Wooops.... my own rutines are'nt that secure, are they?

Does that go for the Emco Malware Destroyer too?

At least it's not actively starts infections then....

....and it wasn't very useful anyway :oP
