Hi All,

We are using the w2k terminal server at our office.when a user logs in to
the server from rdp it creates a active session. For some reason connection
disconnects then user relogs in, this time another new active session is
creating instead of connecting with the existing session. So when i look at
in ts manager there are many sessions for the same users and same
printers. Please give me your advice to fix this problem.

thanks
sam

As you have noticed, reconnecting to an existing disconnected
session fails often, particularly when the disconnection was
caused by a network problem (everything else than the user
choosing "disconnect").

One way to solve the problem is to put a very short time-out limit
on disconnected sessions, and reset them automatically.
This can be done in the TS Connection Configuration utility.

Thanks Vera.I will try by changing short time-out limit
on disconnected sessions.

We have another problem that there are some user's accessing the terminal
server from remote location through VPN(Cable-VPN Router). Some time the
RDP Client very frequently disconnects (Erro message:network error),client
os is w2k pro. Please give me your suggestions to resolve this problem.

thanks,

sam
