To: and BCC: limits hugely different - How come? Outlook 2003 XP Pro

Hi - we are a non profit and send a weekly email to our members. All the
contact are tagged with a category. I select them and : Actions / New
Message to Contact. All the names display correctly in the To Field. HOWEVER
when I try to move them or copy then to the BCC field all I get is a whole
bunch of semi colons? What's the deal?? Any thoughts?

How are you entering these addresses in the To: field?
How are you trying to copy them?
Why don't you just enter them into the BCC or CC fields?

I am entering the names in the To field by selecting all from a contact
list - about 800 names and selcting Actions / New
Message to Contact. All the names display correctly in the To Field. Sweet

I copy them from the To field by going by CTRL A / CTRL C then going to the
BCC field and CTRL V. Interesting becasue then I get ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;
etc. Also IF I try and past to WORD I get the same issue.

I need to keep the names private so I am using the BCC field. If I could
have them go stright to the BCC field I would be very happy!

I can't type 800 odd names in by hand! I'l wear out!

This usually indicates a problem with the email address field usually caused
by an incorrect import of the Contacts:
