Last month I asked for a program and used 3 question marks at the end of my
subject line, and in turn got 3 smart answers concerning my question marks I
don't see you jumping on other people for that, I really didn't appreciate
it..

there are alot of 12 year old kids who pretend to be "superior" adults
here. they can't be reasoned with... just do what ever you want and
type however you want. killfile anyone who gives you guff!

I have no firewall in this stage, what do you mean by XP firewall?

XP has a built in firewall, Start / Control Panel / Network Connections.
Right click on the appropriate connection & select the advanced tab.
Disable it to get you started.

All same group name, same protocol with file and printer sharing. I didn't
know it takes that long to see each PC of the network???

There is a process the networking software goes through to discover each PC
and put one 'in charge' so wait at least a few minutes.
