To add extra line/lines to single cell in Excel spreadsheet

To log incoming mail using Excel, I would like to add an extra line or lines
to just one cell as required, I know there is a keyboard shortcut can anyone
help please.

Hold "alt" then press "enter" gives like a carriage return within a cell.
And you can do this over and over within the same cell.
