Rocky Mount police are searching for a man suspected of armed robbery
Saturday night at the Pizza Hut.

According to police reports, a suspect entered the business at 2820
Sunset Avenue just before 9 p.m.., displayed a firearm and demanded
money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Police attempted a K-9
track, but the track ended behind the car wash next door to the
restaurant with no suspect located.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 16 and 28-years-old,
between 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 5 feet, 9 inches tall. The man weighed
approximately 160 pounds with a slim build and was wearing a black
leather jacket, black jeans and black gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111
