Hi All,

Well like many in the last few days have purchased full Vista 64bit version.

Installed TMNations...

Protection System (Frontline Pro) ERROR

Customer Support 3.7.12.5; 3008

I have tried the 32bit Star driver, NO GO!!
Will not allow to test or check the video card.

So I guess it looks like no playing TM.. SAD

Any Ideas?

DirectX 9.0 initialisation failed!

'Line 1398, CreateDevice : D3DERR_DEVICELOST'

Please check if this version of DirectX is properly installed properly on
your computer

So the question is this Microsoft Vista Problem? TM Software Problem? or
StarForce Support Problem?

I guess at the end of the day it my bloody problem ... lol

-----

StarForce Support emailed me and told me to try ther following:

Do the following please:

1) Right-click on the game's shortcut, select properties and click "Run as
administrator";
2) Run the game;
3) It will ask to reboot the PC;
4) Don't reboot;
5) Run "sfdrvup.exe" from here: http://www.star-force.com/protection/users/ ;
6) Reboot.

Which helped... but still cannot test the video card, as follows:

If I go to do a bench test, this what comes back
" Your Graphics Card Supports "High Quality" settings at 0 fps"
If I set the approx video settings and save.. push play.. nothing happens
I also tried to the non launch file, no differents.
Also tried tried re-installing.. urrr

Any ideas anyone??

I got it working using that starforce update and runs fine. You might need
to update dx9 as it is still used to run things. I first turned off uac
control off from user accounts. Then attempted to run tmn then close the
box. After that apply the starforce update and rebooted.

Hi Ken

Thanks for your help...

Still no go.. you must be using the 32bit version?
