Excellent service & the Ink seems to be equal to OEM, at least for my
HP5550 printer.

They do use Formulabs ink for the bulk supplies but I tried the
cartridges and it turned out not to be formulabs ink and was
disasterous.

Grab the bulk ink just to be sure.

I second that emotion. I've used Atlantic Inkjet's inks for the Epson
500, Epson 740, then Lexmark Z55, and now my Canon i850. And my sister
currently uses their inks for her Canon i850 and HP 930(?). So we've
covered the 4 major brands and can honestly say we've noticed no
differences from the original inks that came with the printers.
I've even tried side-by-side photos (I'm the fussy kind) and they
came out identical. Service is excellent, as mentioned above. I usually
get replies to emails and order confirmations within minutes. Have
no fear of damaging your printer, this is high quality ink. The only
one that clogged was the Epson 740; but then, it clogged with Epson's
own ink too. So that's an Epson 740 issue which I promptly and easily
solved by throwing it out! I've used Atlantic's inks in my current i850
for over a year, many refills, with a perfect record of happiness so
far. I'm currently printing a load of photos, enough to empty a full
set of cartridges and then some. Not worried about the price, it only
costs me about $5 to refill all four cartridges. The real cost is the
paper.

Note: I'm not sure if the same ink is used in their cartridges as for
their refill and bulk inks. My experience refers mainly to their bulk
and refill inks. You'd have to inquire. Bulk ink (larger bottles) is
where you really begin to save money. And if you already have syringes,
this is all that's needed to get into using bulk inks. You may want to
buy some of their small plastic bottles for convenience.

Who makes their inks?... Don't know, haven't asked. The printed results
speak for themselves and are all that really matter to me. And they've
passed my personal tests. But rumor has it their inks are all naturally
home brewed from Atlantic inkberries growing wild on the rocky shores of
Maine and New Brunswick. This is the only place you'll find them. The
berries are lovingly picked (by hand) at the peak of their delicious
colors - cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The black, I might add, is a
true black inkberry and not a combination of the three colored ones.
The whole process is a long and fascinating story, not really pertinent
to this thread..... And before any of you suddenly develop a hankering
for natural herbal inks, I must add that this little fable about the
Atlantic inkberry was sarcasm (a joke, ha ha). But... I believe I read
somewhere that there was an edible ink. Cool, we'll be able to make our
own colorful inksicles!

Been using them for my HP 932 for years and their stuff works just
fine. That's buying the bulk inks, by the way.
