I have TIVO programs I have transferred to my computer. They play on Media
Player, but the filetype is not recognized by Windows Movie Maker.

Is there a method to save these files to filetype that can be edited.

The file type is called tivofile

There is a vast online Tivo community out there on the wobbly web,
You maybe best to direct your questions to those with tivo experiance.
Just type Tivo in google to be swamped with info. .
Meanwhile, apparently there is an open source/free tool: mencoder,
that converts tivo files to AVI, these being compatible with WMM.
