titles after a last name

I would like to add titles such as CPA, PE, or PHD after a name and it not
file as the title being the last name. Is there a way to put that in so it
knows that. I use to use Act and you could ad a prefix, Dr. or something at
the end.

Open the full name field and enter the parts separately. Do not try to enter
it as one string in the field.
 
Outlook has the same capability. Either type in a comma and the title after
the last name or click the Full Name button on the contact form and use
Suffix box on the Check Full Name dialog to enter the information.
