title problem

Hi,

Whenever I open a webpage, IE only show the first letter of the
title. Say yahoo, I only get a Y instead of Yahoo. Can anyone please help
me? And recently I fount that my DVD rom is not working. I don't know if I
got infected by virus or are these two sympton related. Please help. Thanks.

Do you have the Google Desktop bar installed?
If so, try uninstalling/reinstalling it.
It has been reported to sometimes produce truncation of the title bar
text.
