Hi Rob,

It is the correct URL. I found that the FTP system I am using to upload
(Wanadoo Site Builder), requires the home page to be renamed .htm to
..html. I forgot to update this file on a site update.

It is now OK and headings all show BUT: if i use the URL
http:/mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/newagent i get the website up and
running ok but if i add www. to the URL in the correct place i get a
404.

I suspect I am loading the website from the local disk?

What do I do now? The help from Wanadoo Site Builder is virtually non
existent. They do not answer emails.

Your URL partially works at http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/newagent/
- note the trailing forward slash at the end of the URL

But it is being framed by your host so page titles of the framed pages will not show
Unframed it is at
http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/newagent/index.html
But none of your chapter page links show (file not found) and it has html errors

Thanks Stefan,

Everything seems to work OK in 'preview' of FP2000 on my laptop which
is networked to my PC.

I just FTP'd the whole site from the laptop via the PC to the Wanadoo
Sitebuilder which accepted it.

I do notice the theme colour is different on the website. In FP2000 it
is light blue. On the web page it is light grey. This may be a separate
issue. How do I make the chapter links show and find out what the HTML
errors are?

As I say, it works perfectly in FP200 in 'View Page As Web' or Preview
tab.

Thanks your interest

You are not FTPing something correctly to the correct location on your host server

Thanks Stefan,

Yep, that was it! I did not delete my previous bad upload. Now uploaded
FTP complete & new and seems to be OK.

I want to correct some typos. Do I just go to the .htm page and renew
that?

Terry J

Yes and FP should FTP publish it

That's because http:/mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk is a subdomain --
http:/www.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk would be a different subdomain if
it existed, but it doesn't exist so you get the 404 page not found
error.
