Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. On the
Appearance tab, click Advanced. Under Item, choose Active Title
Bar, then change the number in Size. Repeat for Inactive Title
Bar.

Thanks for this. A few months ago I reduced the size of the title bar & forgot how to change it back. The process you described allows me to once again increase the size of the title bar, however it also increases the size of the taskbar. This means that the taskbar icons look strange as they lose definition.

Is there a way of increasing the size of the title bars without increasing the size of the task bar ? Or, better still reverting to the original settings ?

Thanks in advance,

Thanks in advance,

Your post is not connected to the original thread in the Agent
Newsreader or in Outlook Express. I helped someone with a recent
question like this so will pipe in.

When you change font sizes for particular screen elements, it can
carry over to areas of the GUI that you were not expecting it in.
There is no way to disjoin the locations and adjust them separately.

You can revert to default settings.

If using XP Classic: select one of the "Standard" schemes in Display>
Appearance> Advanced. Click Apply and/or OK

If using the Windows XP theme: Use Display> Themes and select "Windows
XP," then Apply or OK.

You quoted nothing, so I'm not sure who you're thanking, for
what, or what the previous messages were about. But to change the
size of title bars, do the following:

Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. Go to the
Appearance tab, and click Advanced.

Go to the Item box and select Active Title Bar, then change its
size as desired. Do the same with Inactive Title Bar.
