Donna

I know this is going to sound like a picky problem
compared to some I've read about on here but it's very
annoying to me. I've had XP for over a year & recently
changed to a new dsl ISP (CenturyTel). They came in &
set up my computer & when they left I noticed the title
bar on my browser now reads: Microsoft Internet Explorer
provided by CenturyTel. I am VERY annoyed by this as
they did NOT provide my Explorer & want to get rid of
their name on it. (I've already gotten rid of the ISP -
they had such poor service I changed back within a
week!). I can't find any settings to fix this. Help
anyone????

While I'm about it I'm still annoyed by the right click
to save a .jpg when my only option is to save in .bmp.
I've read all the faq's on the microsoft site & I have no
full caches, nothing is set wrong under the Advanced
Tools. Can anyone tell me what ELSE I can do to be able
to save in another format??

Thanks in advance for your help!

For your title bar, click on "Start" then "Run" in the box type (or copy and
paste):

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Then click on "OK".
This will clear the "Provided by CenturyTel" logo and reset it to the
default "Microsoft Internet Explorer" logo.

As to the problem you are having with saving pictures, I have no idea.
Sorry.

I'd like to thank both of you who replied & let you know
that all is now well with my browser title bar & my
picture saving ability. I have looked for answers to
these problems all over & felt like I was beating my head
against a wall...then I came here & had answers right
away. You folks are absolutely terrific!!! Thanks again
& Happy New Year to one & all.
