Microsoft has nothing to do with your game not being compatible. How long has
Visat been out now........6 months?.......and how long before that have they
had access to release candidates?
Some software/game makers seem to be taking their time (understatement) in
providing Vista updates/patches.
Personally, I've had pretty good luck with my games running on Vista, but I
certainly wouldn't hesitate to contact them inquiring about the problem.
......Just a personal opinion from another gamer.......

I'm using vista 32-bit and I'm playing c&c3. After installation c&c3 you
install directx 9c.

Though it's not a Game for Windows, they do list Vista32 has being
supported, but they don't list Vista64. Not sure why Apeace is havign a
problem and I can't quit make out what the exact problem is, but I played
over half the Single player game on Vista64. So it works and works pretty
good under Vista64

Though I don't think it would be too wise to tell them that you are going to
go back to your pirated copy of XP if you do decide to contact them.

So far all of the games that I've reinstalled (and I've got a huge library
of both old and new games) have all worked perfectly well with Vista, some
may take turning on compatibility mode, and others might need to be run as
administrator, but none of them have failed to run properly for me under
Vista 32bit edition.
