I have been given a "Tiny" scanner, model FU318D.

No driver disc just a basic instruction book which does not mention drivers etc.

How can I connect it to my PC with XP?

I dunno how you "connect" it to your PC ... USB/parallel cable? ... but they ain't no XP drivers to run it.

Welcome to the forums. ;)

The Tiny FU318D scanner is basically the same as the primax version

a friend of mine had the tiny model and installed this driver

http://www.scanner-drivers.com/drivers/124/124630.htm

unzip the archived files into a folder on your PC. Run the setup to install TWAIN.

Plug in the scanner, load driver from OT1Drivers\os, which is located wherever you unzipped the above to. You can use either of the two optional devices

You can now use the scanner with any twain compatible software.
you should be able to find some freeware with a google search.

once we did that it all worked fine on XP

hope it helps you....
