In WMM, hjow can you adjust the timings of the pictures you are displaying so you can see them them for 1 second or 10 seconds?

Do you want them all the same or different?
For all the same, before you start your project -
Tools > Options > Advanced
If you want to vary the time then you can use the timeline view rather than
the storyboard and drag out the pics to the size you need. You can also zoom
in and out on the timeline to make this easier.
