Whenever I rehearse timings for my slides (and say "Yes" to save the
timings), if I try to redo the rehearse timing, it seems the original timing
is saved and the subsequent timings are ignored. Is there a way to get
PowerPoint to recognized the new timings? I am using PowerPoint 2000.

Also, after doing rehearse timing (and saving the timing), is there a way to
just edit one slide's timing or do you have to do the rehearse timing from
the first slide all over again?

crzl99,
I do not have a clue as to the first question. But for the second, it has
been a while since I used PPT 2000. But if I recall correctly you could try
this to change the timing of a single slide. Go to Slide Sorter View. Choose
Slide Show - Slide Transition and set automatically after to whatever
seconds you want. On your way out click apply or something to that effect.
Now don't be cross if it turns out I gave you inadequate advice, this is
from memory and it has been reported that mine fails from time to time.
