Does anyone know if timing of a slide can be set at less than one second, but
greater than zero?

Thanks

Just to further explain on modifying the delay, you can set it to 1 decimal
place. (e.g. 0.5 seconds)

Also note that PowerPoint is notoriously bad at exact timings. If the exact
timing is critical down the the fraction of a second, PowerPoint might not
be the best choice. If you just want to speed things up a bit, that should
be OK.
