Timing errors when ppt saved as .htm

I made a presentation with custom timings and set up the show so it could be
"browsed by individuals." I also made sure I checked "use timings if
present." Then I ran the slideshow on my computer and everything worked fine.

However, when I saved it as .htm, all the timings and slideshow transitions
are gone, though the content and the pictures are intact. Do any of you know
where the problem is? thanks a lot.

Let me see it --- give your link. --Rino

What do you mean by the main .htm file?

Well, I'm using the Mac Version of Office (v.x). It's not the most updated
version, so could that be the reason why stuff is not saved properly? From
what I understand, in the Windows version of powerpoint, if you set the
timings and save it as .htm, you're good to go, right?

Thanks once again.

Thanks a lot!

Hi aif tushoy,
After you Save it in htm firmat, it created a main folder and a sub-folder.
Example:
[ ] Eva Choy folder ---- Eva Choy.htm file (HTML Document, 3 KB)
[ ] Everything about Eva Choy_files (sub-folder)

Note: Eva Choy.htm file is your Main htm file. Cick it to check your converted html format.
If everything come up OK then you can start uploading it.

Your presentation is good and we understand her life story. Does it have music?

I'm using Windows version (PPT-xp or 2002) --- sorry, it's not compatible with yours.
Only MVP or Mac users can help you now. Waited for few days more and if no response
then make a new post mention your Mac version PPT and problem.

YES! To all your 2 questions. All my PPT project are saved in HTML format. They're in
CD or in Internet. Maybe this will interest you: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00428.htm find it
for Mac version --- with only one click of Main .htm file, it open in full screen no matter what
monitor resolution were set.

Thanks Aif Tushoy for showing us the link. Your Slide Transition works for
the first slides ONLY. Have you try opening the main .htm file in your PC?
What version of PowerPoint you used? --Rino

i made a powerpoint presentation and set all of the slides to change
automatically after 8 seconds. However, when i saved my powerpoint as a
website, the slides wouldnt change automatically and i had to click the mouse
to move on to the next slide. i made the powerpoint on a mac and i'm not
sure if that has anything to do with it. How can i fix this?
Thanks a lot!
