What is the recommendation for exposing table timestamps
when working with MS Access and SQL server 2k on the
backend? Should timestamps from tables always be included
in all queries and JOINs if that table's fields are
subject to edit?

Thanks so much and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hi,

Only if you don't have a primary key. It is generally well advised to
NOT expose the end user to data that is not relevant to his/her work...
timestamp (and autoidentity) are generally not.

Hoping it may help,
