TIMEOUT socket connection

Hi Guys,

How would I know if my socket connection in in TIMEOUT status while
receiving data from the server?
Where can I set my TIMEOUT=30 in c#.
Somebody know this.. please help..

you can get/set the connection timeout through
x=myConn.ConnectionTimeout;
myConn.ConnectionTimeout=x;
