Timeout expired

I have a VB6 application which uses ADO data access to
retrieve, save and update data. But, the application
occassionally encounters "Timeout expired" error on a
connection.

I use the same connection object which is then closed and
set to nothting when done.

Any possible ideas why this problem?

Please help
 
Hi Peter,

I wish I could help you, but you are in two ways in the wrong newsgroup.

This group does VB.net language which is very different from VB6.

Then that uses Ado.net, which is very different from ADO 2.x

So most probably you don't find your answer here.

Take a look at the VB classic newsgroups or a Ado (not net) newsgroups.

This is a VB.NET (dotnet) group. Please turn to one of the
microsoft.public.vb.* groups.
