Hi

If I understand things well, the duration of clips,
transitions, sounds etc can only be changed by dragging
them in the timeline. This works. However, once you close
the movie maker and re-open your project, the timeline
is "scaled" in order to fit the movie in about half of the
visible timeline. The interval of the timeline becomes
then too small to do this dragging without becoming very
imprecise...

Does anyone has a solution ? For example by setting the
timeline interval ?

Use the zoom in icon above the timeline to see it at the level you want -
down to the MM2 frame level.

Use the 'magnifying glass' (zoom) tool to expand the timeline to suit your
editing needs. I work zoomed right in for precise control over clip changes
and right out for macro control over the whole project.
