timed save of documents with automated time stamp in filename ? (w2007)

Hi all,

is there a way to set Word so that it automatically saves my document
every 30 mins under different filenames that contain the time they were
saved in the filename?

I know of no native Word functionality to support this requirement; however,
there may be commercially available third-party applications designed for
this purpose. In addition, I'm sure a clever developer could probably put
together a macro-based solution. If you don't feel that you fall into the
"clever developer" category, then it shouldn't be too difficult to find one
willing to contract to do the work for you - just ask.

The SaveReminder addin http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm will
save the document at a chosen interval. It should not be too difficult to
modify the code to add the time of the save and date to the filename.
Whether that's a sensible thing to do is another matter.
