time

Why do you think it should?
Why not? Previous versions of Win have the time option and
it's something that is very useful. My classroom clock
doesn't work and it would be nice to be able to set the
screen saver to tell the time, so I don't have to look at my
watch.

Yes, The time is their. Go to your screensaver slect
3D TEXT goto setting click time. I Hope this works.

Good enough reason, just never noticed the time option on any screen savers.
I guess it's yet another feature Microsoft didn't think of including.

It is exactly the same as previous versions. Choose 3D Text Screensaver,
then Settings, then Time

Thank you!!!

However, I can tell you that from computer to computer...
the options change. Some have it, some don't and I'd like
to know why! Is it something that is a "standard" option
and just isn't picked up by some computers (can it be
installed via the program disk?).

I've not seen one without it. On the one's without and with right click
c:\windows\system32\3dtext.scr and check the version numbers.
