Time Zones on Slides

Any ideas on how to insert the time for a different time zone into a slide
where the time continuously updates?

Thanks for that, worked great on 2003, not at all on 2007, but didn't solve
my problem: I need to insert into a slide the time in a time zone other than
that on the computer clock (and keep the computer on local time).

Steve,

That's about all i know regarding this. I imagine with some bespoke VBA
coding it's possible.

Or try searching on google for a ready made solution. It's quite a specific
thing so I'd be suprised if there is any thing already 'out there'

cheers

In 2007 if you insert a text box (believed this worked in earlier versions
also), click on Insert, Date & Time, select what you want form the drop down
list, checkmark update automatically, it will show the date and time from
whichever time zone is viewing the presentation. It takes the time from the
computer viewing the presentation.

Thanks for your reply, what I'm looking for is a way to have a time entry
show current time continuously (which the AutoDateTime add-in does,
PowerPoint's Insert Date and Time only updates it once when you open the
file), but in a time zone different from the computer's time.

So, what you want is to display a time in from a different time zone other
than what the computer is in. That I don't think is possible.

That's exactly it - I'd assumed that was easy but I'm not a programmer, and
with mnay companies like ours that operate simultaneously in different
countries, having some slides be able to show current time in different times
zones would be very helpful.
