Time zone

Can anyone tell me how to get the eastern time zone to
appear in the pull-down menu when I try to set the date
and time. I am only getting Pacific time even when I
click on the arrow.
 
Do you get a bit list of time zones? You need to look about a third way down
the list - "(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)"
