Time to start over

Theres are so many old files, folders, apps etc... on my
PC. I'd ready to wipe the entire hard drive and start
over on my Windows XP comp. I don't want to get rid of
essential files needed to run Windows, but everything
else has to go. How do I get rid of EVERYTHING? Thanks.

Also, I'd like to put all my files that are still worth
keeping in a single folder to be saved. Is that possible?

regarding creating a folder to save some files,
either put them on a separate disk, separate partition, or
burn it to a CD.
When you're ready, boot the pc directly from the XP
cdrom. Select new install and you'll get a chance to
start fresh.
