I have 'Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server' checked
in 'Date and Time Properties' window. The date is correct and I am
running behind XP Home's firewall. Automatically adjust for Daylight
Savings is also checked. Yet, when I try to synchronize by clicking
Update, I get a message saying, "An error occured while Windows was
synchronizing with time.windows.com. The sample was rejected because:
The peer's stratum is less than the host's stratum."
BIOS shows the time and date correctly as does the clock on the task
bar.
I have looked at Help and Support for an answer and all the things
mentioned there seem to be in order. This problem appeared yesterday
with the switch to Daylight Savings.
Can someone help me figure out why automatic synchronization doesn't.
Thank you.
