Hy

My problem is that diferent stations in my network have
diferent time zones, that's bring me a little of trouble
when is hour to share printers, every time a user wants to
use others printers neeeds basically run in both machines
the BAT file that is create to sincronize the hour with the
one of the server that at the begining of all days.

When I try in one computer to establish the same time zone
of the server and leave the BAT file in c:
\Doc&settins>Start menu>programs to automatically
sincronize the hour, brings a lot of problems for that
station to login to the network and I prefer to leave it
like that until now more about the situation.

Please if anybody now how can this be resolve let me now or
send me the link if is a doc that explain something about.

Regards

Emilio

Due to Kerberos requirements it is in general a bad idea to manually change
the time on any server and I would advise against this. AD does not require
the use of batch files to synchronise the time, this is handled
automatically by the w32time service where the time flows down the network
from the PDC Emulator in the forest root, it is only on this server you
should need to manually set the time with the net time command, probably
against an Internet atomic clock. Have a read of this link:

Servers using Kerberos are aware of time zones so being in different time
zones should not break Kerberos. Verify that the time zones are set
correctly, and you have set up an authoritative time server in your domain.
This article will walk you through those steps.
